Aboriginal Awareness Program

For a number of years now we have been running our Aboriginal Awareness Program.  This program is designed for primary school children at both public and separate schools.  It consists of our Elder (Harold Ross) going to schools, Boy Scouts and Girl Guide groups in this area and teaching these children the real history of the Algonquin Nation at no cost to the school boards or scouting groups.  This program has been well received in the past and this year with the assistance of the Ontario Power Generation Corporation we are giving consideration to carrying it on to a provincial level.
